It’s oh so tempting to just throw around the terms that I am so common with…and expect everyone to know what I mean.
That wouldn’t be fair, so here’s the plain-talk explanation of the most common terms related to projection screens, projectors and home cinema. And yes, that would be my definition for the glossary.
- Ambient light
- All the light that does not come from your projector. This can be sunlight, but also light coming from lamps or a fireplace
- Man cave
- A basement that’s been turned into a space where a man can do what he wants, without being interrupted by his female partner. Stuff such as drinking, watching movies on the big screen and gaming.
